Rock carving showing a Kurdish Magi (Median) performing a ceremony - From Dascylium now located at the Archeology museum of Istanbul.

Dascylium was the capital of the Medes satraps of Hellespontine Phrygia, modern Ergili. The town is famous for several 5th century reliefs, showing Medes Magis performing ceremonies.
Magis on this relief have Barsom ( baresman) in their hands. Barsom has a long and important history in Zoroastrianism; They are made of sacred twigs of Haoma plant or other plants which are tied together to form bundles and are used in certain Zoroastrian ceremonies.
